A museum-inspired bicycle garage in The Hague

Until recently, bicycle parkings at stations were places where you got in and out as quickly as possible to catch the train to get to the office, school from university on time. How different is that at The Hague Central station, where the underground parking facility offers space for 8,000 bicycles.
Eye-catchers in the garage are the glass light walls that run all around. On this wall you find one continuous image in which facade elements of iconic buildings in The Hague. They flow into each other like an artwork by the famous Dutch artist H.C. Escher.
